From Bologna: Take the A13 towards Ferrara and exit at Ferrara Sud. Continue on the road Ferrara-Mare RA8 until the junction for the SS309 (direction Venice) and then follow the signs for Lido degli Scacchi-Pomposa.
From Ravenna: Take the SS309 towards Venice until the junction of Lido degli Scacchi-Pomposa, following the signs for the coast.
If you travel by train:
The most convenient way is by train to get to Ferrara Station. From Ferrara, take a bus or taxi (about 40 minutes) to Lido di Pomposa. The local public transport line from Ferrara to the seaside resort is 331 and is operated by TPER.
